However, I picked these headphones based on many other parameters along with the brand. For example, Sony WH-XB910N are premium Bluetooth headphones.

I put them on my list because everybody knows these are premium headsets and deliver very good performance but at a price.

These Bluetooth headphones make it easy to connect to your favorite music, movies, podcasts, voice calls, and more.

Though I picked Sony’s costly headphones, other ones are equally great-sounding headsets you love to buy.

Other models are also packed with useful audio tech among the top of the range for the best noise-canceling headphones to isolate you from noisy environments.

But my best of overall on the list is the boAt Rockerz 450 followed by the Infinity (JBL) Glide 510.

Both of these are very good headphones and are not very expensive too.

Need something faster?

Read on for my picks for the 11 best Bluetooth headphones. I am sure, you will find a pair that fits your needs.

Perfect, comfortable, and secure fit in the ear. Excellent noise cancellation. Outstanding sound with consistent bass. Battery life is at par with the price.

How We Pick the Best Bluetooth Headphones

As a gizmo enthusiast, I love to do a lot of research about gadgets that are launched in the market. My special interest lies audio market segment.

Therefore, I use them and write about these gadgets and share my opinion based on my personal experience.

At the same time, I work as a consultant and advisor, and my primary job involves attending quite a few number of meetings in a day.

The majority of these meetings are largely organized on the online platform; video conferencing like zoom call etc.

I also have an interest in listening to music when I have spare time and working in a gym or otherwise.

In both the conditions above, I need headsets that produce all-around performance. For example, I need to have an excellent mic, bass, and sound for call and music.

At the same time, I also want headphones that are comfortable to use when I put them on my ear for a reasonably long time.

I also see the performance of these gadgets in noisy environments.

Before translating my experience into the article, I put these earphones in the following performance metrics:

  • Call quality to check whether the person on the other end can clearly hear my voice or not.
  • Noise cancellation helps me test whether the headset I pick isolates external sound or not.
  • How long I could use my earphones on a single charge that lets me know battery life?
  • How does the device perform when it comes to wireless or Bluetooth connectivity?
  • How appealing and strong do the headphones look, i. e. design and build quality?
  • Whether the device has dust, sweat, or water resistance features, i. e. IPX technology.
  • How easy, smooth, and accessible the touch functionalities are.

Why You Should Consider to Buy From Our Top 11 Bluetooth Headsets?

Me and my friends are very fond of electronic gadgets, especially headphones.

One of my friends is very fond of music and he even owns a small studio where he does all the audio and video editing work.

Whenever there is a launch of a new gizmo in the audio market segment, we either get it from our source or directly get into the showroom or studio to hang around and get the taste of the newly launched headset.

We use these products at least for a couple of weeks or for a month. This gives us ample time to see, test, and experience their all-around performance.

When we use these earbuds, it’s not limited to listening to music. It’s beyond that.

We do use them in indoor as well as outdoor activities, for example, running, walking, working out in the gym, and attending meetings on video calls.

Therefore, the list of 11 Best Bluetooth headphones I put together here is very carefully curated based on our personal use and experience coupled with in-depth research.

It is indeed my best effort to produce the most useful content without any bias for my viewers and readers.

I am sure it will help you to pick the best Bluetooth on-ear headset you are looking for and that meets all your requirements in your headset.

Top 11 Bluetooth Headphones You Can Buy Now

These are the best Bluetooth headsets very carefully curated and picked after using them for weeks and months.

Let’s dive in and see how each of them comes out in overall performance.

1. boAt Rockerz 450– Best of Overall Bluetooth Headphones

Option of dual-mode connectivity with Bluetooth as well AUX cable. Offers easy and seamless access controls for smooth functioning. Ensure maximum user experience with ergonomic, comfortable, and light-weight design. Equipped with 40mm dynamic audio drivers to deliver immersive sound.

I got this pair of headphones a few months back to gift them to my sister.

And my impression about the device is that the boAt Rockerz 450 Bluetooth headphones is the next generation model in my opinion.

It has many of the same features as its predecessor, including active noise cancellation (ANC).

Also, the support for boAt Rockerz audio feature for virtual surround sound, in-app sound customization presets look pretty much the same.

Listening to the music straight from my laptop and the smartphone, I could clearly make out the boAt Rockerz 450 is good for neutral sounds.

It’s very interesting, these headphones have a warm sound profile which I really like. This keeps vocals and leads instruments to sound crisp and clear. Lovely!

When it comes to different genres like jazz and classical they may not come in line with neutral sound.

It also has very consistent audio delivery with 40mm dynamic drivers, so you shouldn’t notice any discrepancies due to fit or seal.

As I gifted the earbuds to my sister, she did carry the headsets when she was traveling. She is happy with the performance they delivered.

Indeed, the boAt Rockerz 450 is great for commuting and traveling. These are comfortable, lightweight, and fit over the ears easily as well as into your bag.

The Bluetooth headphones also give you over 14 hours of continuous playtime. This ensures you are you get drained out at least for a couple of days on a single charge.

The device features active noise cancellation. But it seems to be just fine when keeping away bus or environmental noise.

I did also test the Bluetooth headsets for a few outdoor activities. And I am happy with the boAt Rockerz 450’s performance for sports and fitness.

I am very comfortable because they fit well, secure making them easy to carry to the gym or park.

Pros
  • Ergonomic design
  • Light-weight and comfortable fit
  • Decent battery life
  • Dual connectivity modes
  • Best choice for music listening
Cons
  • Bluetooth connectivity could be better off
  • Didn’t give the feel of 3D surround sound
  • Not very suitable for gamers
  • Average mic quality

2. Infinity (JBL) Glide 510– Best Battery Life Bluetooth Headphones

Infinity (JBL) Glide 510 delivers excellent battery life of 72 hours. The Bluetooth headphones are equipped with 36mm audio drivers. Light-weight and comfortable design for a day-long music experience Dual equaliser modes support normal and thumping bass.

According to the company’s claims, the Infinity Glide 510 headphones can provide 72 hours of music playtime.

The Infinity Glide 510 Bluetooth headphones have 36mm audio drivers, and users can switch from normal to bass mode with a single touch.

I tried this headphone a couple of months back for two weeks. I am impressed with the control functionalities it serves.

Coupled with Bluetooth support and voice assistant control, the headphones also feature a foldable design for easy portability.

Though the company claims 72 hours of constant music playtime, I managed to play my music for a little over 65 hours on a single charge. But I must say, I didn’t listen to music without a break.

What I really like about the headphones is their fast charge feature. Yeah, that’s true! When drained out with the battery headphone’s battery, I plugged it for 10 minutes and got 2 hours of playtime.

I am happy with the battery backup. It’s truly amazing!

The Infinity Glide 510 comes in black and blue color variants to choose from. I got the blue one to test the performance.

I said the headset has fast charge feature. But there is a catch. Surely I did manage to 2 hours of playtime with 10 minute’s charging.

However, a micro USB port used to charge the headphones can take up to two hours to reach full juice.

You can switch to normal mode by pressing the volume up and down buttons. Low tone is enough even in normal mode.

It might be unbearable for bass lovers. Genres like EDM, Rap, and Hip Hop can be really fun because of their vaunted bass accents.

The midrange, I found does just an average job. That’s fine for me because I really don’t like amplification at some point in time.

There was a slight lack of sparkle in the high register. Because of this, if you’re someone who immerses yourself deeply in music, you might not have a great user experience.

The soundstage and stereo imaging are very good, though. As I said before about the lack of noise cancellation, call quality is excellent when you’re outdoors, with no muffled audio.

Pros
  • Excellent battery life with fast charge
  • Call quality is at par with expectation
  • Foldable design for easy portability
  • Good performance of bass boost mode
Cons
  • Average midrange
  • Average noise cancellation
  • Clamping is a little tight
  • Highs are also not exciting

3. Sony WH-CH710N– Best Bluetooth Headphones for Perfect Call Quality

Sony WH-CH710N comes with great noise cancellation ahead of its competitors. The Bluetooth headphones deliver very good call quality. With 30mm audio drivers, the headsets deliver extended details of all music.

The first thing I could notice when I got the headset out of the box is its weight. At 218 grams, it weighs absolutely light.

When you put it on, it doesn’t feel like you’re carrying a huge device on your head. Because the WH-CH710N is made entirely of ordinary-looking plastic. And that’s very light.

With noticeable sound, you could the earcups rotate 90 degrees to lay flat, but there’s no hinge. If you’re trying to save space in your bag, this is not the place for you.

The plastic body also creates amplifying noise, when you hit something or scratch the sides of the headphones.

The Bluetooth headphones have a rounded design that is not very noticeable. I don’t particularly like the silhouette of the headphones, but they’re right up my alley.

When I put on the headphones, I could easily feel the ear pads are made with plush memory foam for long-term comfort.

The only little downside I notice here is that the ear cushions don’t feel deep enough. Some users with large ears can actually feel the drivers pressing against the ears.

Unlike the Sony WH-1000XM4, there are no touch-sensitive earcups for playback here, instead they have good old buttons.

They are very clicky and responsive so you always know the button was clicked successfully. The Sony WH-CH710N Bluetooth headphones are great for commuting and traveling.

They are comfortable to wear for a long time with little fatigue, and the long continuous battery life allows you to spend a long trip comfortably.

Their bulky design is not very portable.

While the headphones are very well designed to maintain call quality, blocking the background noise does an average job.

I did try Sony WH-CH710N headphones for a few outdoor activities and found these are is suitable for sports and fitness.

Pros
  • Very good call quality
  • Active noise cancellation is good
  • Light and comfortable to wear
  • Ambient sound for better audio production
Cons
  • Average build quality
  • Shallow earcups are not suitable for big ears
  • Average mids and highs
  • The lack of hinges makes them flat

4. JBL Tune 510BT– Best Bluetooth Headphones for Quick Charge

JBL Tune 510BT delivers 2 hours of continuous playtime with 5 minutes of charging. Its battery delivers 40 hours of constant music play with optimum audio settings. The dual pairing feature lets you connect two Bluetooth devices simultaneously. The 32mm audio drivers deliver great bass sound for bass lovers.

The JBL Tune 510BT Wireless are affordable wireless on-ear headphones. They have a slightly V-shaped sound profile that adds kick and brightness to some tracks.

While the maker of the Bluetooth headphones claims 40 hours of playtime, I managed just over 38 hours of playtime on a single charge.

The headset didn’t deliver very great background noise isolation for me. At the same time, it feels cheaply built. And I hoped it would have a little more sound customization features.

In my couple of weeks of experience using the JBL Tune 510BT, the Bluetooth device delivered well neutral sounds.

It these headphones have slightly overemphasized bass and treble response, adding fun and brightness to your favorite tracks.

However, I feel some users may find too much of a boom with the bass and treble without any exciting sound customization options.

I feel the on-ear headphones offer fairly consistent audio.

The JBL Tune 510BT is a good option for commuting and traveling. But I find it a little annoying it doesn’t completely block background noise, especially low latency sound.

I used the JBL Tune 510BT couple of times for in my outdoor activities and found it is fairly suitable for sports and fitness.

They’re fairly light and allow decent airflow to your ears, but they only hold in a mediocre position and aren’t sturdy enough to withstand a few drops and bumps.

It has a nice control scheme, allowing you to make multiple adjustments without having to pull out the phone.

This pair of JBL headphones have controls on the right earcup. There is a volume control with plus and minus signs.

The headset also has built-in support for voice assistants like Siri and Google, so you don’t even have to pick up your phone to use your assistant.

Alternatively, you can double-press the multifunction button to wake up the assistant.

Pros
  • Good battery life with fast charge
  • Easy to access and use controls
  • Good audio delivery
  • Comfortable fit
Cons
  • Average build quality
  • Average background noise isolation
  • Headband doesn’t stick well on the head
  • Limited sound customisation options

5. boAt Rockerz 370 – Most Comfortable Bluetooth Earbuds

boAt Rockerz 370’s ergonomic design delivers comfort for extended use. The headphones offer extended bass delivery and HD sound with 40mm drivers. Its dual connectivity modes make it easy to connect your device via Bluetooth as well AUX cable.

A closer look at the build quality of this pair of headphones reveals that they’re well-built for the price, with boat logos on both earcups.

On the right one, it has 3 buttons. The middle button is used for play/pause and power on these headphones.

The two other buttons are used to skip to the next or previous track and adjust the volume.

There’s a micro-USB port for charging these headphones, and an LED light that intermittently blinks blue when the headphones are paired with your device.

The same LED glows red while charging. The left earbud only has a microphone. Next to the micro USB port is an AUX input port that allows you to connect these headphones to your source using an AUX cable.

This is useful if your battery runs out or you need to use a non-Bluetooth source device. The ear pads are made of cloth.

This makes the Rockerz 370 comfortable to wear, but it also wicks sweat when used during exercise.

At 110g, I found the headphones to be lightweight and the headband to have enough clamping force to stay in place.

These headphones are an on-ear fit and I found my ears to be warm after using these headphones for about 20 minutes.

I used these headphones with a Google Pixel 3 and a Macbook Air in my testing. The Boat Rockerz 370 are comfortable and the cushioning in the headband great.

The slide bar has no ribs, so it’s not easy to adjust both sides to the same height. Thankfully, the earcups swivel and are easy to adjust.

The Boat Rockerz 370 offers excellent audio quality but is very bright at high volumes. You can even listen to the lyrics after watching some videos with the Rockerz 370

I found the performance to be acceptable. The noise-canceling mic was average on calls, with callers who could be far away.

The headphones have a battery life of 12 hours for continuous music playback, but I managed to get 10 hours.

Pros
  • Light-weight and comfortable
  • Good delivery of Mids
  • Good bass sound
  • Dual connectivity options
Cons
  • Average battery life
  • Setting high volume doesn’t produce good sound
  • Build quality doesn’t look premium
  • There is room for call quality improvement

6. Sony WH-CH510– Most Compact and Light-Weight Bluetooth Headphones

Sony WH-CH510 Bluetooth headphones are very compact and light-weight. These headphones have comfortable ear cushions for extended use. The WH-CH510 delivers 35 hours of constant playtime. The WH-CH510’s 30mm closed dynamic drivers deliver very balanced sound.

A solid pair of premium still affordable headphones in this class, the Sony WH-CH510 is an audio brand that allows Sony to make some of the most impressive headphones you can buy today.

More importantly, this doesn’t break your bank.

It proves that If you want to see Sony’s best audio tech, check out Sony WH-1000XM4  for top-of-the-line over-ear.

When it comes to noise cancellation and sound quality, both are top of their class. The Sony WH-CH510 can’t keep up, but it wasn’t designed for that.

This premium pair of on-ear headphones have a simple design, great sound, and no-frills features.

That’s why it’s included in my top picks for the 11 best Bluetooth headphones you can buy right now.

Aesthetically, there isn’t much to say about these Sony cans, but since accessibility is the goal here, its calm and simple look does wonders to extend its appeal.

The headphone’s shape profile is very close to a straight line with circles at both ends. The fact that these Sony WH-CH510 headphones are on-ear means you won’t get extraordinary audio quality as compared to over-ear competitors.

With that in mind, it’s amazing how solid these Sony’s sound despite their limited form factor. The bass is clear.

The highs are a little more dominant than we would have liked, and the mids are a little too restrained, but the overall profile is satisfactory.

While they don’t have the superior clarity, balance, and sense of space offered by their WH-1000XM3 siblings, the sound these on-ears produce is undeniable for their size and price.

You’ll find most genres work well here, but tracks that already have low-mids and bumpy highs can be uncomfortably overdone.

During my testing, the Bluetooth 5.0 connection never dropped and I didn’t experience any glitches or dropouts.

There’s no app companion I could find, but given the device’s inherent simplicity, I couldn’t see a need for it.

Pros
  • Good battery life and sound
  • Very compact and light-weight
  • Affordable price for the class
  • Delivers balanced and right sound profile
Cons
  • Design and build looks somewhat average
  • May not be comfortable for long duration
  • It’s not foldable, so not storage portability

7. Sennheiser HD 250BT– Best Bluetooth Headphones for Excellent Sound Quality

Sennheiser HD 250BT delivers high-quality DJ sound with dynamic bass. The headphones offer a very good battery life of up to 25 hours. HD 250BT’s aptX and AAC codec support deliver high-quality audio with great bass. The integrated Smart Control App delivers a better audio experience.

The Sennheiser HD 250BT headphones feel like a breath of fresh air. It offers a solid, reliable mix of precise bass and detailed treble that will appeal to audiophiles.

The Bluetooth headphones also have app with adjustable EQ and  AptX and AAC codec support.

To be frank these are a pair of budget-friendly Bluetooth headphones for those who value audio quality above all else.

The black HD 250BT headphones look subtly cool. Sennheiser keeps things simple and functional, and they end up being very stylish.

The on-ear cups create a reliable seal from the outside world, and while the padding isn’t plush, it presents a firm and stable fit.

On tracks with heavy sub-bass, like The Knife’s “Silent Shout,” the HD 250BT Headphones deliver strong low-end depth that’s neither clinically flat nor overly amplified.

One of the things Sennheiser does well here is it doesn’t squash the dynamics. The HD 250BT’s drivers aren’t really that loud at max volume.

It can be quite loud for those who don’t want to blow their eardrums. Not as loud as many of the headphones I’ve tested.

This means that demanding tracks like this can get by without drifting into distortion-causing volume levels

The bass response here is robust and well-balanced with high-frequency detail.

Sennheiser’s HD 250BT headphones are designed for those who value audio precision and want an affordable price.

You get AAC and AptX support, which is rare for a model in this price range, plus a detail-oriented sound signature with a focus on the high-mids and highs, with an EQ that lets you tweak things somewhat.

Padding is available for the headband, but these headphones are a reminder of what basic audio precision sounds like in many pairs.

Music with heavy bass mixed in sounds good here, too, but if you’re really craving that subwoofer ringing, you’ll want to look for a pair with more low-end capabilities.

Pros
  • Delivers excellent quality
  • Good EQ adjustment and tweaking
  • Light-weight and comfortable
  • Equipped with AAC and aptX codec support
Cons
  • There is no robust bass
  • Headband doesn’t feel very comfortable
  • Bass sound is not suitable for everyone

8. Skullcandy Cassette S5CSW-M448– Best Bluetooth Headphones for Music Listening

Skullcandy Cassette S5CSW has a full range of functions despite its low price. Cassette Bluetooth headsets offer both Bluetooth and wired connectivity using a standard 3.5mm jack and an included AUX cable.

If your sole objective in buying a pair of Bluetooth headphones is listening to music, I am sure you love it.

Skullcandy Cassette S5CSW has a full range of functions despite its low price.

Cassette Bluetooth headsets offer both Bluetooth and wired connectivity using a standard 3.5mm jack and an included AUX cable.

This is a very welcome feature for headphones that are not so expensive. Isn’t it?

The riff has split these two types of connections into two different models at different price points.

The charging port is Micro-USB, not for USB-C lovers, but otherwise fine. It has a fast charge feature that gives you just over 2 hours of playtime in 10 minutes of charging

I managed to play music for about 21 hours with resealable volume. The Cassette headphones are closed-on-ear headphones that come in black, blue, and purple variants.

The Skullcandy Cassette is here to give you all the boom, boom, slightly muddy bass you know you crave.

A booming, flowery, dull bass is the order of the day. It’s accepted from the first moment, unstoppable, imprecise, and sloppy.

This is fun for bass-heavy or bass-heavy music but tramples detail on other types of sound. The bass penetrates deep into the mids.

Female vocals sound thicker and more relaxed, and instrumental detail is muddy and reduced. I usually don’t like the fit of on-ear headphones, but these are beyond my personal comfort limits.

The ear cushion foam is standard ordinary foam. It has a lot of volumes, but it has very little resistance, bounces quickly, and has very little softness to your ears.

In contrast, the small headband padding is made from what appears to be superior slow-rebound memory foam. The adjustment range is good.

Pros
  • Great music listening experience
  • Dual connectivity options
  • Good delivery of mids and highs
  • Good battery life and fast charge
Cons
  • Boomy bass my not be good for all
  • Doesn’t feel very on the ear

9. Creative Sound Blaster JAM V2– Best Multipoint Connectivity Bluetooth Headphones

Creative Sound Blaster JAM V2 delivers simultaneously connectivity with two devices. The headphones deliver very good sound for all genres with 32mm neodymium drivers. The 22 hours of battery life is good for constant music all along the day.

If you ask me which is the best multipoint connectivity Bluetooth headphones today, my answer is Sound Blaster Jam V2.

The headset promises great sound at an affordable price.

The Sound Blaster Jam V2 has some impressive specs, including a 22 hours of battery life and light weight of 84 grams.

The headphones feature fly switches, these sound great on paper. But when you get your hands on it, you’ll see just how much Creative has gone to great lengths to make it happen.

Frankly, it wasn’t worth it. The Sound Blaster Jam V2 are low-profile headphones with an all-black rough plastic body.

Their look and feel are pretty ordinary and flimsy in the hand. This was probably done to match the 84-gram weight. But I think something was lost in the process.

These were meant to be used in a variety of situations, but I felt they needed more attention than most headphones.

And in terms of comfort, it doesn’t fare well here either. I admit I’m not a big fan of on-ear headphones in general, but the thin padding on each earcup didn’t help much.

They are not much comfortable as sound, but they were lightweight and didn’t actively strain my ears or head.

I didn’t feel the fit was very secure, even though I cinched it tighter than usual. If the sound is substandard compared to substandard hardware, that’s really crazy.

Luckily, Creative did a great job on that front. These headphones sound good and often sound great.

There were a few minor issues with audio crackling and background mainly when using in wired mode

But those issues were rare.

Overall, the Sound Blaster Jam V2 delivers quality sound for whatever you do. It might sound a little flat, but the sound you get here for the money is really good.

Pros
  • Good multipoint connectivity headphones
  • Deliver good sound for the price tag
  • Lightweight
  • Decent battery life with 22 hours of playtime
Cons
  • Design and build don’t seem very exciting
  • Not very comfortable to wear for a long session

10. Sony WH-XB910N– Best Premium Bluetooth Headphones

Sony WH-XB910N delivers excellent noise cancellation under all conditions. The headset has a very battery life giving you 30 hours of playtime. Its multipoint connectivity allows you to connect two devices at the same time.

Hey premium headphones lover, just go it!

The latest WH-XB910N looks very similar to its previous flagships, the WH-1000XM4 and XM3, but doesn’t win the same awards for aesthetic innovation as its big brother, the WH-XB900N.

The case is entirely made up of plastic material, the earpad covers are vinyl, and the earcups fold up to the headband for storage.

Sometimes I pinch my fingers trying to undo the headphone hinges, but Sony has thought of everything.

It’s buried in small text in the warning section, watch your fingers. Not surprisingly, the headphones called “Extra Bass” will hear the bass.

Below 200 Hz, the loudness of the frequency response increases dramatically, ending at 30 Hz, about 20 dB louder than ideal.

At full volume, around 30Hz, the headset hums. But honestly, it doesn’t make music that quietly.

Compared to other frequencies, it is still too loud. If you commute or travel frequently or you are office goers The Sony WH-XB910N is a great option.

It’s very comfortable and well-designed, and although it’s a bit bulky, it comes with a hard case for protection on the go.

However, when it comes to blocking the ambiance sound, ANC provides only satisfactory sound isolation.

In my experience, the Sony WH-XB910N is good for sports and fitness, but it doesn’t seem to be designed for it.

The Bluetooth headphones have a very comfortable and well-made fit, but are  bulky and not very portable. It’s also not IP rated for water resistance, as it can  fall off your head during heavy head movements.

Pros
  • Good build and comfortable
  • Good noise cancellation
  • Delivers good battery ife
  • Equipped with LDAC, AAC, SBC codecs
Cons
  • There is room for improving touch controls
  • Ambient sound isolation is not great
  • Inconsistent bass treble

11. Sennheiser HD 450SE– Excellent Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones

Sennheiser HD 450SE delivers very good noise cancellation for a great listening experience. The headsets have responsive and intuitive control functionalities. HD 450SE’s aptX and AAC codec support delivers high-quality audio with good bass.

I talked a lot about the noise cancelling features of Bluetooth headphones above. But here is the best one

If noise cancelling is your real thing, then look no further. Grab it!

When I first put the headset on, I thought the fit was just barely painful due to the clamping force and the formation of hot spots on the crown of my head.

It is now possible to wear. Minimal ear cup rotation does not affect comfort but limits portability.

While some headsets have the option to roll the headphones flat for storage, the HD 450BT only has the option to fold the earcups into the headband.

This works well with the case it comes with, but I didn’t have the option to lay the headphones flat and slide them into the bag.

The headphones have the classic Sennheiser sound when pumped out by 32mm drivers offering a frequency range of 18Hz to 22kHz, creating an excellent listening experience.

Active Noise Cancellation and Ambient Listening keep you immersed with very strong active noise cancellation.

It has an excellent ability to identify and remove background noise. The same is true for more difficult tests, such as long, noisy train rides.

On the downside, the HD 450SE doesn’t have a transparent mode. This, coupled with the inherently strong noise isolation of on-ear headphones, can make hearing someone a little jarring.

These headphones offer Sennheiser’s familiar sound profile, strong ANC, and a great mic for picking up your voice during calls.

However, battery life lags behind its competitors, the app lacks certain key features, and the uncomfortable fit makes it difficult to wear for long periods of time.

The HD 450 SE fell short of the Soundcore Life Q35 and Cleer Enduro ANC headphones in terms of features, both of which are less expensive than Sennheiser’s options.

Pros
  • Active noise cancellation at its best
  • Delivery of good and balanced sound
  • Sturdy build and decent call quality
  • aptX, AAC, SBC codec support
Cons
  • Average battery life
  • Doesn’t give a good user experience with comfort
  • Microphone quality needs improvement
  • Fast charging features absent
